Texas Holdem poker is the most famous card game, known all over the world. It is played by people across the world, in all ages and social strata. The rules of Texas Holdem poker are simple to learn but quite hard to perfect and master it perfectly. In Texas Holdem, the player winning the round earns the prize.

Before the start of each round, there is a time limit of five minutes, at which the players are asked to place their bets. After the betting is over, another five-minute time limit is used for the next round. In Texas Holdem poker rules, the first player that makes any combination of four cards, i.e., fources, three of a kind, two pairs and a straight must win the pot. And the last player standing is the loser, who is out of the pot.

There are four types of poker: Texas Holdem, Five-Card Draw, Regular, and Twenty-One. In Texas Holdem, the last two players in a table face each other, and the player sitting on the flop are known as the “big blind”. The Texas Holdem rules help to decide the amount of the pot: the small blind has a smaller number of chips than the big blind and hence, the pot is split equally between the two players in the pot.

The number of chips in a pot determines its size: the higher the number of chips in a pot, the larger is its size. Similarly, the pot odds also depend on the number of players in the pot. A low number of players in a pot increases the pot odds. Another feature of Texas Holdem Poker Rules is that a player may call before the flop, but after the turn if he has not got any cards, then he has to wait until his turn.

Texas Holdem Poker Rules helps to determine the starting hand in Texas Holdem Poker. If there are seven players in a table, the starting hand may consist of three clubs, three diamonds, two clubs, or a straight or a four-of-a-hand. If there are eight players in a table, the starting hand may consist of two diamonds, three clubs, two four-of-a-hands, or a straight. Again, if there are ten players in a table, the starting hand may consist of three clubs, two diamonds, or a four-of-a-hands. The starting hand in Texas Holdem Poker rules may change according to the number of players in the table.

Texas Holdem Poker Rules can make the game more interesting, if they are followed strictly. For example: if a player bets two and a quarter chips, he must call on both his flops. Otherwise, he forfeits his bet. If a player calls and raises before his turn, it means that he has a strong hand. Similarly, a player who bets and folds his bet before his turn, is said to be “calling before his turn”.
